GuestifyMe (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates a nightlife guest-list and cover-charge platform primarily for Bangalore. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data under the Information Technology Act, 2000, the SPDI Rules 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA).

2. How We Collect Data

Directly when you sign up, book a pass, or create an organizer account

Through the scanning app when your guest-list entry is verified at the door
3. Purpose of Processing

Verify identity and prevent fake entries

Add you to the correct guest list and send confirmations via SMS/WhatsApp

Enable door staff to verify and mark cover-charge status

Calculate and settle commissions with organizers

Notify you of event updates or cancellations

4. Lawful Basis

We do NOT sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or third-party marketers.
6. Data Retention

Attendee data: Automatically deleted 90 days after the event ends (except when required for disputes or legal compliance)

Organizer data: Kept for the duration of your account + 3 financial years for tax/audit purposes

Backup logs: Maximum 180 days
